Brielle Dulce Perez is an acclaimed American pianist celebrated for her expressive artistry, her musical sensitivity, and her dynamic performances that have captivated audiences worldwide.

Born in Oradell, New Jersey, Perez began her piano studies at the age of five at the Palisades School of Music in Fort Lee, New Jersey. By ten, she made her orchestral debut with the Bravura Philharmonic Orchestra, performing Saint-Saëns’ Piano Concerto No. 2. At thirteen, she commenced her studies under the mentorship of Eduardus Halim, a distinguished pianist and former student of Vladimir Horowitz. In 2024, Perez graduated from New York University with a Bachelors of Music in Piano Performance as well as a double major in Psychology, receiving the Ida Bodman Service Award in Women’s Leadership and the award for Outstanding Achievement in Piano Performance. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Piano Performance at The Juilliard School, studying with Orli Shaham and Hung-Kuan Chen.

Perez has performed extensively across the United States, Europe, and Asia, on  stages such as Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, Steinway Hall in New York City, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Mozarteum in Salzburg, and the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall in Moscow, to name a few. Her festival appearances include the Tanglewood Music Festival, the Art of Piano Festival, the Puerto Piano and Strings Festival, the Malaga International Piano Festival (FIPMA) and many more.
 

Among her recent engagements, Perez delivered a series of performances of the complete Etudes-Tableaux of Sergei Rachmaninov, as well as a performance of Bartók’s Piano Concerto No. 2 with the NYU Symphony Orchestra under the baton of David Bloom. In March 2025, Perez gave a solo concert at the historical Puerto Rican Pregones Theater in the Bronx, NY, performing the Opus 22’s of Joaquin Turina, Ludwig Van Beethoven and Robert Schumann. In the past few years, Perez has been invited several times as a featured artist in David Dubal’s “Piano Evenings” class, where on one occasion Dubal claimed she was “born to play Rachmaninoff.”

Perez has won top prizes in numerous competitions, including the First Absolute Prize in the Málaga International Piano Competition, the Gold Hands award, as well as the award for the 'Best Performance of a Chopin work' and 'Best performance of a 20th century work' in the Carles and Sofia Piano Competition and most recently, First Prize in the Juilliard Miezcslaw Munz Piano Scholarship Competition. 

 

In 2025, Perez was featured on the Young Artists Showcase segment of WQXR, New York's number one classical radio station, where she performed live on air, and was interviewed by acclaimed pianist and host, Simone Dinnerstein.

Beyond her classical career, Brielle is interested in combining classical music with other disciplines. Her most recent adventure involves playing the Synthesizer and the Hammond Organ as she explores the worlds of jazz, Rock n' Roll and Indie music.

 

 Brielle is committed to authenticity in her artistry and advocates for mental health awareness in the field, especially for children's healthy pursuit of rigorous arts. She shares her journey and insights through her social media platforms, aiming to break stigmas and inspire others.

 

In September of 2025, Perez took on the Teaching Assistant position for the Juilliard Pre-College Piano Division.
